about me
***I studied art history, film studies and English Philology at Freie Universität Berlin - never sure in what little box I belong and where to continue until and after my graduation, but always very grateful for the experience. My studies left me with a broad and hungry mind for cultural production, a sensitivity for aestheticism and a lifelong love for the city of Berlin.
I continued my life in Berlin living in different city parts and working in different cultural institutions, nationally and internationally, always interested in cultural practice in any type of margins or liminal spaces: borders, Global South, formats…
Since I am a very curious person who loves challenges, I started a dissertation at the age of 33 to understand the transformation of the artistic field in India and get an answer what is at stake for art markets of the Global South when joining the international art market and scene.
As art historian, curator and researcher, I gained practical experience and knowledge from 15 years of curating, coordinating and managing international solo and group exhibitions at museums and galleries in Berlin and abroad.
***My talent is to decipher visuals, belongings, emotions, structures and patterns. I use this talent when I work with artists and artworks, and lately especially when I engage as coach with humans, their thinking and social patterns in their social contexts.
